Meet the Trainer

Steve Graduated from the Animal Behavioral College and is presently completing his Masters Degree in Companion Animal Behavior Counseling.
Steve has completed a Dog Training and Behavior externship at Best Friends Animal Society in Kanab, Utah. Steve is a professional member of the IACP (International Association of Canine Professionals and ACABC (Association of Companion Animal Behavior Counselors) .
Steve maintains current on all the latest training and behavior modification techniques by attending seminars, reading animal behavior journals and participating in industry peer groups.
Steve has trained many dogs of all breads and ages from the puppy that just needs to learn how to live in a human’s world to the dog with destructive/dysfunctional behaviors.
Steve has trained for the humane society and PETCO. Steve has been a Mentor Trainer for the Animal Behavioral College.
Steve is the happy owner of an adopted American Bulldog mix named “Slider” and a Golden Retriever “Irish”.

Steve’s training philosophy is to communicate your rules and boundaries to your dog while rewarding behaviors you like and controlling problem behaviors. Steve is fluent in many training methods and will perform a functional behavioral assessment to determine the most effective method to achieve your training goals.
